Many schools both public and private were also locked.
Shops on the streets were equally locked down as the owners did not show up for business.
Apart from occasional movements of few vehicles, the roads were also dry.
Few individuals were observed trekking on the streets as only few tricycles were operating as at the time of filing this report.
Security was fortified at the entrance gate to the Government House probably for the eventually of the unknown.
The capital city was however, generally peaceful as not incidence of violence was recorded.
