Glorious home call of late elder Boniface Achiwo Ubosi

The burial ceremony of late Elder Boniface Ubosi, witnessed a huge gathering of people, comprising relatives, business associates, friends and well-wishers of the Ubosi’s in Umuchigbo Iji Nike in the Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The late Patriarch of the Ubosi’s passed on to eternal glory, at the age of 92.
The week long funeral activity of the Nongenarian, began on Tuesday the 17th day of December, with a Christian wake in his compound.
The funeral mass on Wednesday the 18th of December, was held at the St Mary’s Catholic Church Umuchigbo Iji Nike, with lots of sympathisers from all walks of life gracing the event.
The funeral right of the deceased which began on the 19th of December, at the Ncheke Village Square Umuchigbo Iji Nike Enugu, saw Inlaws of the deceased family, paying tributes and eulogy to the departed Patriarch.
First Son of the deceased Mr Malachy Ubosi, while speaking to Newsmen, described his late father as one that lived a glorious life, leaving behind a cherished memory in their hearts.
While describing him as a man of few words, honour and integrity, he prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest in His bosom, while wishing sympathisers and friends of the family journey mercy to their destination.
First Daughter of the deceased Favour Uzochukwu described him as a family builder, who did his best to provide the very best life could offer for his children.
“A man whose actions and convictions showed the dept of his belief and one that taught me self confidence from childhood” She added.
May God grant his soul eternal rest.
For last Son of the deceased, Ejike Jacob Ubosi, described his late Dad’s life and times, as one whose memory would forever be a treasure to him and his siblings.
Among the dignitaries that graced the epoch making burial ceremony, includes representatives of the Senator Enugu East Senatorial District, Senator Kelvin Chizoba Chukwu, Member House Of Representatives Enugu North and South Federal Constituency, Hon Chimobi Atu, Member representing Nkanu East Constituency at the State Assembly, Hon Okey Mba, Captains of Industry, Traditional Rulers and the Clergy.
Late Elder Boniface Achiwo Ubosi, was born on May 1933, and was the only child of his mother.
He attended St Patrick School Amorji Nike and completed a correspondent course while he sat for the Cambridge examinations becoming a teacher.
He later ventured into Agriculture and Real Estate business.
He is survived by Wife Ezinne Susana Ubosi, Children, Grand Children and many relations.
