Umunneochi, Ohafia clash in Sen Ohuabunwa’s football competition

The finals of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa football competition between Umunneochi Tigers and Ohafia United will be played tomorrow, Sunday, February 12.

According to the organizers of the annual football competition, Ohafia clashes Ohafia Local Government headquarters play ground is the venue of the grand finale slated for 3:00pm in the afternoon.

A release jointly signed by Hon. John Ekpenyong and Mazi Felix Ukpabi Tournament Coordinator , and Chairman, Local Organising Committee, LOC, of the competition respectively, said winners of the competition would go home with a mouth-watering offer from Sen. Ohuabunwa, the sponsor of the competition.

The tournament which had each LGA in Abia North represented by two soccer clubs, is being organized by Grassroots Sports Federation, South South Zone.

The Federation with the motto: Dedication to Youths Development Nationwide”, is recognized by the Federal Ministry of Sports & Social Development.
