S’East PDP stakeholders promise block vote for Atiku-Okowa

Critical stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the South East geo-political zone, have promised to deliver the zone to Atiku Abubakar at the forthcoming presidential poll.




The stakeholders who was hosted by the South East Coordinator of Atiku Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Theodore Orji in his Umuahia palatial home, vowed to mobilize voters in the zone for Atiku and PDP.
They predicted landslide victory for the PDP ‘s presidential candidate who they described as a friend of the South East.
According to them, South East, contrary to fears in some quarters, have nothing to lose under Atiku – Okowa presidency.
Speaking at the strategic meeting, the host, Senator Orji, said that South East had always supported the PDP, expressing optimism that the zone will still vote massively for the party’s candidates at the forthcoming polls.









Orji said that Atiku had variously shown capacity to move Nigeria forward if given the opportunity to preside over her affairs.
He said that under the watch of Atiku, Nigeria would be united, and witness economic boom.
Orji told Coordinators in the Atiku PCC in the zone, to remain committed and vigilant until Atiku was delivered in the zone.
The former Governor equally predicted a brighter future for Nigeria under Atiku presidency.
Similarly, former Senate President and the Acting Chairman, PDP Board of Trustees ( BoT), Dr Adolphus Wabara, said that Atiku had the capacity and experience to navigate Nigeria out of the woods.
Wabara solicited the support of South East voters for the Atiku-Okowa presidency, expressing faith that under Atiku, Nigeria will be repositioned for greatness.
In his remarks, Abia Deputy Governor and Chairman of Atiku-Okowa PCC in the state, Sir Ude Okochukwu, assured of the determination of his team to deliver Atiku in Abia State.
The Deputy Governor urged Abians to troop out in their numbers during Atiku’s proposed visit on February 9 for Abia mega rally.
Other stakeholders from the zone including PDP presidential aspirant, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa; Chief Dan Ulasi; Professor Jude Njoku; among others pledged their unflinching support for Atiku.
The strategic meeting was attended by many PDP bigwigs in South East including Eze Duru Iheoma, SAN; Hon. Gary Tony Eneh, Dr Eme Okoro, Hon. Onyeka Onwe, and Chief Charles Ogbonnaya among others.
Wawa News Global recalls that Gov Okezie Ikpeazu and his other members of the Nyesom Wike-led G5 are yet to agree to work for Atiku following their insistence on the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
