Abia Xmas, New Year returnees eulogise Greg Ibe for free bus

It has been outpouring of encomiums and showers of blessings from Abians returning from Christmas and New Year celebration on the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Greg Ibe, for assisting them with free transport from their respective communities to Umuahia the capital city and Aba the commercial capital, of the state respectively.
Some of the returnees were seen alighting from branded coaster and Hummer buses in front of APGA Campaign office near Main Motor Park, Aba Owerri Road.
The highly elated returnees including women, men and youths were raining blessings on the APGA governorship hopeful for coming to their aid.

Some of them were overheard saying that the gesture had saved them some money considering the high cost of transportation occasioned by the hike in fuel price.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Eme Okpara from Okoko Item, said it was a big relief to him to be conveyed back to Aba free of charge after the usually heavy Christmas and New Year expenses.
He applauded Professor Ibe for the gesture, and prayed God to enable him actualise his political ambition to be better positioned to identify with more suffering Abians.
Similarly, Chinedu Lekwauwa, from Igbere, described the gesture as unprecedented, and assured Ibe of the massive support of Abian youths.
He described the free transport scheme as a better way to identify with Abians considering the biting economic situation.
Another beneficiary who said he came from a family of seven, assured Ibe of the block vote of the family members.
He said that the APGA governorship candidate was the only politician that went beyond the usual sharing of few cups of rice, and identified with Abians at the exact point of their needs during the festivities.
He noted that the high cost of transportation had imposed serious burden on families , and thanked Professor Ibe for mitigating the people ‘s burden.
Another beneficiary from Nkopro said God had at last remembered Abia, and prayed for the actualisation of Ibe’s governorship ambition for greater impacts on lives.
One of the returnees from Ohafia said he had saved N3000 for joining Professor Ibe ‘s free bus to Aba, hinting that he will deploy the money on other personal needs.
” That governorship seat is for you; nobody is dragging it with you”, he echoed, vowing to mobilize his friends for Professor Ibe.
Another returnee, a woman from Ohafia said she spent N5000 with her two kids while going for Christmas and showered blessings on Professor Ibe for bringing them back to Aba free of charge.
She urged Abians to give the APGA governorship flag bearer opportunity to lessen their burdens at the forthcoming poll.
A release by Chimaobi Emeruwa, had asked returnees from different communities in Abia North to converge at designated points from January 6 for their free movement to Umuahia and Aba respectively.
