Abia political lords mourn Ogbulafor
By Steve Oko
Major political stakeholders from different political parties in Abia State have registered their grief over the demise of the pioneer National Secretary and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor.
Ogbulafor passed on at the age of 63 in a Canadian hospital after a protracted illness.
The Abia political lords who identified themselves as friends and colleagues of the late elder statesman described Ogbulafor as an accomplished Nigeria and an illustrious son of Abia who had made his mark in different fields of endeavour including politics.
They described his death as a collosal loss to the country especially now that his wealth of knowledge is highly needed to move the country forward.
The Abia political stakeholders and friends of the late Ogbulafor said the vacuum created by his demise would take a long time to be filled.
They condoled with members of his immediate family, the Olokoro clan and Abia State Government for the irreparable loss.
While praying God to grant the family and all those directly affected by his exit the fortitude to bear the loss, the stakeholders enjoined the family to emulate the good legacies of their late father.
They also prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal repose in heaven.
