Soludo vows to personally lead APGA campaigns in Abia
By Steve Oko
Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has promised to personally lead the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, campaigns for the 2023 governorship election in Abia State.
Soludo made the declaration weekend when he received in audience, the APGA governorship candidate in Abia State, Professor Greg Ibe at the Government House Awka, vowed to stop at nothing in ensuring that APGA takes over Abia in 2023.
Describing Prof Ibe as a world-class technocrat and intellectual entrepreneur of repute, Gov. Soludo said that “Abia desperately needs a man like him to transform the state”.
Soludo urged all members of APGA in Abia especially those who contested with Ibe during the primary election, to join forces with him in order to secure victory for the party during the general elections.
Professor Soludo said that “APGA is the only political party in Nigeria that enshrined the concept of restructuring in its constitution and remains the best platform to champion the much needed transformation of the entire nation.”
He, therefore, enjoined leadership of the party to initiate strategic alliances and robust engagements with other like minded individuals, groups and organizations in order to reposition APGA and indeed the South East for greater participation in the act of national governance.
Professor Soludo also said that more states in the South East would be taken over by APGA in 2023, a move he added, was already gathering momentum.
Speaking earlier, Ibe said he came to identify with Soludo on his giant strides so far in Anambra which, he added are testimonials of what APGA stands for.
Ibe said South East would fair better under APGA.
The APGA candidate was accompanied by the party Chairman in Abia, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere; the Director General of his Campaign Organisation, Sir Emeka Okafor.
