Greg Ibe not sick, not hospitalized – Aide
By Steve Oko
Sources close to Professor Greg Ibe has dismissed the romour of his hospitalisation as fake and laughable, insisting that the industrialist and governorship hopeful is hale and hearty.
His Aides in a statement urged members of the public to discountenance the story.
Below is a full text of the statement:
“Amid rumours of ill-health and concocted surgeries in the minds of traducers and those who are petrified of the development that will be engendered in Abia State by the salubrious mind and the steady hand of Professor Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe, it is pertinent to let the world know that such content is false and that they should be aware that Prof. Greg Ibe is in residence at Uturu, his hometown and has been consulting quietly.
Peddlers of misinformation about the health status of Professor Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe tarried with their wicked plot as a result of his reverent withdrawal to mourn the transition of his beloved father, The Late Okwelube I of Amaokwe Achara Uturu, HRH Eze Cyril Elesim Ibe, whose royal funeral rites culminated in his burial on the 10th of December, 2021 of which such rumour mongers refused to attend nor pay condolence visits coupled with their infantile jocularity, acute joblessness and being expert monitoring spirits.
The world should know even as Nigerians and Ndi Abia are irrefutably informed that no such misinformation about ill-health nor surgery nor any other false reportage regarding the health status of Prof. Ibe should be regarded as they do not hold water nor can such stand when held up to the light.
Professor Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe is hale, hearty, young, able and raring to go and discharge the daunting responsibilities of which he is being called upon to serve.
