IPOB raises alarm over alleged plot to attack Southerners in core North

As the #EndSARS protests in assuming a disturbing dimension in some parts of the country, the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, has raised alarm over alleged plot by some elements to attack Southerns resident in core North.

IPOB Leader in a statement he personally signed said credible intelligence showed the attack was meant to be launched Tuesday night.

The statement made available to Wawa News Global warned Southerners and Christians in core Northern states to be security conscious and be ready to protect their lives and property.

It read in part : “RED ALERT: Credible intelligence reaching #IPOB Directorate of State (DOS) shows that thugs are plotting large-scale VIOLENCE in the core North against Southern #Christians, especially of #Oduduwa & #Biafran extraction, whom they blame for the #EndSARS protests.

“Southerners and Christians in core Arewa Sharia North must take every necessary measure to protect their lives and properties. Remember 1966 and take precaution.”
