ISUN cooperative society lauds FG over covid -19 loan

The leadership of ISUN Multipurpose Cooperative society has lauded the federal government for disbursing covid -19 loan to help Nigerians cushion the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

ISUN which is one of the facilitators of the loan in South East and South South geopolitical zones said that a lot of families had been lifted out of ‘poverty pit’ courtesy of the loan.


It commended the federal government for the gesture, and urged it to sustain similar humanitarian programmes to enable Nigerians recover quickly from the devastating economic effects of covid -19 pandemic.
ISUN cooperative society in a press release, urged members of the society to take advantage of other federal government loan schemes such as the ‘Trader Money’, ‘Market Money’, and ‘Agric Loan’, to re-start life as the economy is gradually opening.
It also asked its members in Abia State to come to its office rotated at # 5 School Road Umuahia to verify their particulars and information on federal government loans.


The release jointly signed by the National Chairman of the cooperative society, Engr. Isaac Nkole; Ag. Secretary, Mr. Samuel Okoronkwo; and Ag. Legal Adviser, Jerry Eziukwu (Esq.), requests all its members who applied for ‘Market Money’, ‘Trader Money’, and ‘Agric loan’ to come to the office to verify the vital information on or before Monday, August 10.
According to the release, the cooperative society has also opened its new branch at #214 Arochukwu Road, Elu Ohafia for members and intending members from Ohafia and Arochukwu axis.
The release said its members from the area could also do the verification of their information on the loan applications at the Ohafia branch.
