Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, has re-apponted a veteran journalist and former Correspondent of The SUN Newspapers, Mr. Emmanuel Uzor as his Chief Press Secretary.
Apparently because of competence and dedication demonstrated by the CPS during his first outing, Gov Umahi also appointed his brother, Mr. Monday Uzor as the Deputy Governor’s CPS.
This is as the Governor has sworn-in the re-appoined Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Cletus Ofoke.
Sworn in also was the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Dr. Kenneth Ugballa; as well as the Chief of Staff Government House, Chief Offor Okorie.
Other members of the state Executive Council sworn-in by Umahi in Abakaliki include the Principal Secretary to the State Governor, Chief Clement Nweke, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Abuja Liason, Barr. Joseph Ekummanka.
Umahi also swore in Saint Nchekwube Anako Special Assistant on Security & Utility, Capital City, Mr. Benedict Nwovu, Special Assistant Security & Utility, Ebonyi North zone, Mr. Nwoba Onyekachi, Special Assistant Security and Utility, Ebonyi Central zone and Chika Nwangele Special Assistant on Security and Utility, Ebonyi South zone.
