Ike Ekweremadu nominated for DSP, to run against Omo-Agege

Senator Ike Ekweremadu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has just been nominated for the position of the Deputy Senate President.
He is contesting against Sen Omo-Agege of Delta Central.
Ekweremadu against all odds was nominated after the emergence of Lawan as the Senate President.
He has since accepted the nomination and promised to work together with the newly -elected Senate President, Ahmed Lawan.
The four time senator and three time Deputy Senate President is set to sweep the poll as his colleagues see him as a stabilizing force in the red chamber.
