DSP: Ekweremadu loses to Omo-Agege

Senator Omo Agege of Delta Central ( APC), has emerged as the Deputy Senate President.
He scored 68 votes to defeat his rival, and former occupant of the position, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, PDP who polled 37 votes.
A total of 105 senators participated in the election, one abstained and one vote was invalid.
