‘Nigeria ‘ll implode if Buhari is re-elected ‘ – Eliot Uko
* Lists president’s unpardonable sins
By Steve Oko, Umuahia
The Founder of Igbo Youth Movement, IYM, and Secretary of Eastern Consultative Assembly, ECA, Evangelist Eliot Uko, has warned that Nigeria would implode if President Muhammadu Buhari were elected for a second tenure at the February 16 Presidential poll.
This is coming one week less than the presidential election scheduleed for February 16.
Uko who gave the warning in a press statement Monday listed Buhari’s ‘many sins’, which he said had made him unfit for another opportunity to lead the country.
The IYM Founder, in the statement which he personally signed and made available to Wawa News Global , accused Buhari of promoting gambling and abuse of tramadol by our youths due to unemployment and frustration as a result of his ineptitude and lack of vision.
He also said Buhari was unaware of the happenings around him, thus ,creating an opportunity for a cruel cabal to hijack his government.
Uko urged Nigerians to unite and vote Buhari out in the forthcoming presidential poll so as to rescue the country from the control of strangers.
Below is a full text of the statement entitled “HOUR OF DECISION”:
“Four days to the presidential elections, it becomes necessary to remind our selves, why it is absolutely necessary, to vote out General Buhari on Saturday 16th February.
General Buhari divided Nigeria, through his parochial and nepotistic worldview.Turned regions against each other through his lopsided appointments, horrified the nation by his tolerance of the brigandage of the herdsmen militia and shocked his 2015 supporters with his glaring ineptitude.
“After destroying the economy, he embarked on a vengeful mission of punishing his political opponents in the guise of fighting corruption. Creating fear and despair in the land.
“Buhari turned millions of our youth into codeine and tramadol addicts, his directionless policies also made betnaija gambling, the greatest preoccupation of the large army of unemployed youngsters ,his mismanagement of the economy created.
His aides constantly tell us, he is not aware of anything.
“His dear wife screams for all to hear, that her husband is not in charge. Many of his associates decamped to the PDP,abandoning him in his sinking boat. The cabal ruling Nigeria through him, continues to destroy Nigeria, while hoping to manipulate the elections to earn a second term in order to turn this beautiful land to Somalia or Afghanistan.God forbid.
“They redeploy security and Police officers in a manner to take advantage during the polls they know they are sure to loose, threaten foreign observers that, they will certainly send them home in bodybags, remove the CJ unconstitutionally and deny opponents the use of government owned stadiums.
“General Buhari and his goons, have no reason whatsoever to ask for a second term. Nigeria will implode if Buhari is allowed another term.
Having failed to fulfil most of his 2015 campaign promises and backed only by a greedy ally, who naively believes, Buhari will hand over to him in 2023, he desperately fights the air, having realized, he has lost lots of respect. Buhari knows nobody believes in his so called integrity anymore, he also knows he can’t win this Saturday’s election.
“Therefore, anyone, who votes anyother candidate aside Atiku Abubakar on Saturday, will only be helping inept General Buhari to hang on to power. Current level of insecurity, hunger, suspicion, anger, despair, discontent, division and poverty, will only intensify.
The judiciary will be totally emasculated, the legislature, crushed and paralysed, then the journey to Afghanistan will truly begin. God forbid.
“We all must participate in the sacred duty of removing General Buhari on Saturday, in order to save Nigeria.
“Evang.Elliot Ugochukwu-Uko
