GUU reschedules induction ceremony of medical doctors for May 28

The Management of Gregory University Uturu, GUU, has rescheduled for May 28, 2025, the induction ceremony of the institution’s third batch of medical graduates earlier scheduled for May 14.

The postponement, according to a release by the Deputy Registrar, Communications, Rev. Sleek Ogwo, was due to unforeseen circumstances.
, the third induction ceremony for its medical doctors, initially scheduled for May 14, 2025, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
According to the release made available to Wawa News Global, the ceremony will still take place at the Goodluck Jonathan Auditorium of the prestigious institution by 10am.
It read in part:”As previously announced, the graduating medical doctors will be administered the statutory induction oath by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) as part of the event, while awards will be presented to exceptional graduates.
“While regretting every inconvenience created by the shift in date, the Management extends cordial invitation to the public, particularly family members of the inductees and friends of the university, requesting them to attend this significant event”.
GUU, located at Uturu in Abia State, South East Nigeria, is one of the successful private universities in Nigeria with sophistry in key science and technology programme including Medicine and Surgery.
Its students cuts across all six ge-opolitical zones obviously due to its quality and globally- competitive products.
