A female student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, MOUAU, has just been arrested during the 31st matriculation ceremony of the institution.
The arrest took place right on the matriculation ground around 12:33 pm while the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Maduebibisi Offor Iwe, was delivering his matriculation address.
The fresh student, who was among the matriculants, defied warnings by the VC and was walking out on the VC when he promptly ordered her immediate arrest.
