Rivers crisis: All eyes on you to protect Nigeria’s democracy, JAD tells judiciary
By Chidi Onyede, Port Harcourt
As the political crisis in Rivers State shows no sign of abating, pro-democracy group, the Joint Action for Democracy, JAD, has tasked the judiciary on integrity and accountability to regain public confidence.
This is as JAD called on Nigerians to demand accountability from the judiciary.
JAD which noted that the judiciary remains the last hope of the common man, expressed concern over the conflicting judgemens by court of cordinate jurisdiction, describing it as embarrassment to the judiciary.

Recall  that the appeal by Gov. Siminalayi Fubara against Amaewhule and his co-travellers is before the Supreme Court for determination.
The brewing political crisis in Rivers State has split the main opposition PDP into two with most of the Governors on Fubara’s side while others are have their loya
