The Abia State Working Committee of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has said that the re-election of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe is for the greater good of the entire Igbo race as he has been the only courageous voice speaking for the race in the red chamber.

This is contained in a congratulatory message for the former Senate Minority Leader jointly signed by APGA Chairman, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere; and the State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Simeon Onyeje.
According to the statement, Senator Abaribe’s resounding victory at the February 25 national assembly poll was an affirmation that the reward for a good work is more work.
APGA leadership noted that Senator Abaribe has creditably distinguished himself at the red chamber by firmly standing for the Igbo cause even at the risk of his political future.
The party leadership commended the good people of Abia South for voting competence above other considerations, assuring them that their choice at the poll will not go unrewarded.
Urging Senator Abaribe to be magnanimous in victory and reciprocate his renewed mandate with more quality representation and democracy deliverables, APGA appealed to all those who lost at the poll, to rally behind the senator for the interest of zone, Abia State, Ndigbo and Nigeria at large.
APGA further urged Abians to vote massively for its governorship candidate Professor Greg Ibe and all its House of Assembly candidates on Saturday.
The party said that Wednesday’s Supreme Court judgement re-affirming the candidacy of Professor Ibe, was a confirmation that God has truly chosen him at this time for a special role in the Operation Rescue and Re-build Abia.
