BREAKING: Sen Abaribe coasting to victory in Abia south senatorial contest

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe representing Abia South, is about to be re-elected for a fourth term in office.
Abaribe maintains a comfortable lead in results so far announced in the Abia South senatorial contest held on Saturday.
The former Senate Minority Leader polled 49,693 ahead of his closest rival, Chinedu Onyeizu of the Labour Party, who got 43,903.
Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP came a distant third with 28,422.
The results were declared early Tuesday morning by the Returning Officer who said there would be a rerun election in 108 out of 1,708 units in zone.
