The yoke ‘ll soon be off your neck, APGA tells Abians @ Xmas

The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has told Abians to brace of for a celebration, declaring that the yoke shall soon be broken of their neck.

APGA Chairman in the state, the Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, who stated this in his Christmas and New Year message, said that the joy brought by the birth of Jesus Christ would soon resonate across the state to mark the end bad governance and political bondage

of its political subjugation.

He regretted that Abia had been oppressed for 23 years by bad leaders, but added that just as the birth of Jesus Christ brought joy to the oppressed humanity, so shall Abia’s bondage end in 2023 under the watch of APGA-led Government.

Ehiemere said that APGA was coming on board to emancipate the state from political bondage, encouraged them not to despair.

He urged Abians to use the Christmas season to pray for divine intervention in the.

The statement made available to Wawa News Global read in part: “This is a period for sober – reflection and to ask God to intervene in the leadership of Abia, so that God will enthrone His own servant who will correct all the anomalies Abians have been subjected to all these 23 fruitless years. Abia needs to be redeemed and restored to the Glory of God and to Abia of our dream.

“God in His infinite kindness has steered us away from the devastating effect of bad governance which has engulfed Abia State for 23 years. I sincerely thank God for our survival in a State which has all the parameters of a failed state; which means that any person who survives in Abia State is qualified to be described as a super human.

“We are all aware of how unhappy citizens of our beloved State: Abia are, with the leadership emanating from neglect of our school system, infrastructural decay and non-payment of salaries.

“I acknowledge and validate the support APGA has been receiving in Abja State because there are noticeable evidences that our party has made adequate preparation to deal with major challenges in Abja State and is ready for 2023 elections.

“I assure you that Abia of our dream is possible when the APGA led administration under the able leadership of Prof. Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe takes over the governance of God’s Own State.: a new Abia of our dream will be given birth to.

Ehiemere tasked Abians on peace during and after the festivities.

“It is a known fact that momentous agreement remains the best option for peaceful coexistence in Abia State where we should be our brothers’ keepers. And our politicians should understand that, being a politician is about public service”.

“I use this opportunity to remind Abians that the message of Christmas is embodied with love, peace and harmony. And Abians should not be carried away by the festivities as to forget the need to redeem Abia- God’s Own State that has suffered several years of mis-governance.”
