We ‘ll support your husband to become gov in 2023, Abia women assure Greg Ibe’s wife

Abia State women, have assured of their readiness to help the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Greg Ibe, win the 2023 governorship poll.


The women who made the promise when APGA women leaders in all 17 councils of the state paid a courtesy visit to Mrs Joy Ibe at her Uturu country home, described the Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies as competent and highly-connected with proven capacity to lead.
Wawa News Global reports that the swelling support for Professor Ibe has continued to gain momentum across the state.
They said that Ibe’s antecedents had put him far above other contestants of the seat, and promised to mobilize Abia women to deliver him at the poll .
The women said that Professor Ibe had brought huge relief to parents and guardians through his scholarship scheme at the Gregory University Uturu, which had benefited hundreds of students.
Speaking on behalf of the women, APGA State Women Leader, Lady Irene, described Professor Ibe’s candidacy as an answer to the agonies of Abia people.
She commended the Mrs Ibe for her firm support to her husband, hospitality and care especially to the less privileged describing her as a role model to other women.
The APGA State Woman Leader assured her of their readiness to work with her in order to ensure a landslide victory for APGA in next year’s general elections.
Responding, Lolo Ibe, commended the APGA State Woman Leader and her team for the visit and continued support to the party.
She solicited the continued support of Abian women for her husband and APGA for the birth of new Abia come 2023.
Lolo Ibe promised that more lives would be positively affected if her husband were given the opportunity to preside over the affairs of the state.
