Abia deputy council boss to sink borehole for community to mark birthday

The Deputy Chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area, Hon. Cletus Nwankwo, has promised to sink a water borehole for his Ututu Community to mark his birthday.

Hon Nwankwo who hinted this in a chat with Wawa News Global on Wednesday, said he was very grateful to God for adding another year to him.
He said that a Geologist he sent to his Community had submitted to him a geological survey of the water borehole project which he assured, would commence in two weeks time.
According to him, the borehole gesture is to complement the infrastructural strides of the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, and to help solve the water need of his people.
“The significance of the borehole is that water is life, and I wish my people long life”, he said.
The former Speaker, Arochukwu Legislative Council, said there would be no ceremonies to mark his latest birthday coming up tomorrow, September 22.
He, however, said the event had been dedicated for prayers, hinting that he will also visit destitute homes in the state to add values to the inmates.
The Deputy Council boss who thanked God for his mercies and bountiful blessings, said God had used him to positively affect lives.
According to him, no fewer than 50 persons have secured job opportunities through his assistance.
He noted that he had had challenges in life but thanked God for the journey so far.
The former Council Speaker who expressed confidence in God for higher platforms to serve humanity, promised to dedicate the balance of his life for service to humanity.
” I thank God for adding one more year for me, and I believe God will enable me to get to higher platforms where I will affect more lives.
