CONFESSION: We were the ones writing votes before in Osisioma – Ex- PDP legal adviser
* Says era of rigging over, defects to YPP

Former Legal Adviser of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Osisioma Local Government Area of Abia State, Emmanuel Enyinnaya, a lawyer, has confessed that they were the ones “writing votes” before in the Council.

The former PDP faithful who made the confession weekend while declaring for the Young Progressive Party, YPP, at Ngwa High School Aba, declared that the era of rigging was over.
He said that votes must count in 2023 and urged youths and all eligible voters in the state who do not yet have their voter’s card to quickly get it before the new deadline by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.




Enyinnaya who said the ruling PDP had lost a sizable chunck of its strong members and backbones in various wards, predicted that PDP would lose Abia in 2023.
Declaring support for YPP, Enyinnaya said time had come for the youths to take over the state and re-set it.
He said that the governorship candidate of the YPP, Nana Nwafor; and his running mate, Chima Anyaso, as well as other candidates of the party ” have all it takes to rebuild Abia”.
Several other persons defected to YPP at the event which drew people from across the state including popular NollyWood stars like Zuby Michael, Cubana Chief Priest, among others.
Prominent among the detectors was the Chairman of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu’s Obingwa Local Government Area, Hon. Ibe Nwoke, popularly known as Abidabi, who is to fly the party’s flag in the Obingwa/ Osisioma/Ugwunagbo federal consituency election.








In his remarks at the glamourous event, Chairman of YPP in the state, Hon. Chimex Uluocha, said YPP would take over Abia in 2023 considering the array of candidates the party is fielding.
