PDP clears Samson Orji for Abia guber primaries

One of the leading Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship aspirants from Abia North Senatorial District, Hon. Samson Orj, popularly known as SCOURJ, has been cleared by the South East zonal leadership of the ruling party to contest in the forthcoming governorship primaries of the party.

The former Commissioner for Commerce who was cleared at the zonal screening of the party in Enugu, was subsequently issued a Clearance certificate jointly signed by the National Vice-Chairman, South East, Chief Ali Odefa; and Zonal Secretary, Chief James Ugwu.

Orji who has been consulting seriously across the state is very optimistic of clinching the party’s governorship ticket at the primaries as he shares his agenda for the state with delegates, stakeholders and party faithful.

His achievements as Commissioner for Commerce particularly at the Ariaria International Market, Aba, plus his sound Christian testimony and uprightness endear him to many.

Orji, a reputable business conglomerate has said that he has economic blueprint capable of transforming Abia into the econiomic giant of West African if given the opportunity.

He has also vowed to restore the dignity of civil service to explore the productivity of civil servants if voted into power.

The Abam, Arochukwu-born business guru, said his flare for accountability and zero tolerance for corruption would make him account for every dime that accrues to Abia under his watch, even as he has vowed to have nothing to do with corrupt public officers.

Orji has also vowed that If elected, the current infrastructural development in Ebonyi State, would be a child’s play to the rapid multi-sectoral transformation that Abia would record under his watch .
