Officers feared dead as military trainer jet crashes in Kaduna

All personnel on board are feared dead when a
military aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Airforce, NAF, crashed in Kaduna State.
The incident which occurred on Tuesday when a Super Mushak aircraft on training mission crashed inside the Nigerian Airforce facility.
About one year ago, a military aircraft conveying the former Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, and 10 others crashed, also in Kaduna killing all the officers onboard.
The cause of the crash is not yet established as at the time of filing this report.
Wawa News Global reports that between August 29, 2015, and 2021, Nigeria had recorded 11 military plane crashes which have claimed no fewer than 33 military officers.
The military is yet to confirm the casualty figure.
