Abomination! Ex-gov’s wife slaps Bianca, Ojukwu’s widow

Something unimaginable happened Thursday at the inuaguration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the six Governor of Anambra State as the wife of the immediate-past Givernor, Willie Obiano, Ebelechukwu, slapped Mrs Bianca, wife of the late Biafra Warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

Dignitaries at the swearing-in ceremony of the new Anambra State Governor, were thrown into confusion.

Reason behind the action of the ex-Governor’s wife was still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent who was at the scene of the event reports that the incident occurred immediately after Soludo took his oath of office.

NAN reports that dignitaries including Ex-Gov Obiano were already seated when Mrs Obiano stepped in and moved to the front row where the widow of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu was seated and slapped her.

The action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who pulled Mrs Obiano off the hold of Bianca who was visibly shocked at the action.

Mrs Obiano was later taken away and shortly afterwards, her husband left the venue since the incident happened after the new governor had been sworn in.

The late Ojukwu, one of the most respected Igbo personalities dead or alive was very instrumental to the formation of APGA.

Besides politics, Ojukwu’s family is highly revered across Igbo land, and any attack to the family is regarded as an affront to the Igbo nation.
