Greg Ibe donates more books to Abia schools
* Tasks students on skill acquisition

Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu and renowned entrepreneur, Professor Greg Ibe, has urged Abia students to endeavour to acquire a skill before graduating from school.
The industrialist who made the call Thursday at Ibeku High School Umuahia, while presenting 10,000 exercise books for distribution to schools in Abia Central, noted that graduates with only academic certificate keep searching for non-existent job years after leaving school.
” Try to acquire a skill for self reliance because Government can’t provide job for everybody”, he advised.
Ibe who was represented by the Director General of Professor Greg Ibe Foundation and former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Sir Emeka Okafor, pledged his continued support for entrepreneurial studies in the state.
He said that his decision to donate books and other academic materials to schools across the state was part of his contribution to complement Government efforts towards education department.
Ibe further encouraged the students to take their studies seriously and shun bad associations .
He promised to sustain his scholarship scheme which provides opportunity for indigent students from all 17 councils in the state to study in his university.
Ibe had last week made similar donation to schools in Abia South.
