Abia 2023: Ngwa monarch roots for Greg Ibe

As the search for Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu’s successor in 2023 continues, a prominent Ngwa monarch, HRM Eze Sampson Jinanwa, has described Professor Greg Ibe as ” a sure route to peace and seamless development”.
The traditional ruler (Ise 1) of Amaise Ovungwu in Umudiele Amaise autonomous community Isiala Ngwa South LGA , made this known during his 20th coronation anniversary, said Ibe had the needed divine endowment to fix the state.
He poured encomiums on Prof. Ibe who he also confered with the Chieftaincy title of “EBOGU IWEALAA 1” of Amaise Ovungwu autonomous community.


The pragmatic ruler recalled the impact made by Prof. Ibe during the Covid-19 saga when he provided palliatives and food stuffs to people of Abia State and her environs and pointed out that his efforts lessened the hardship in the State while assisting the State government in carrying out her social responsibility to the citizens.
In his words, ‘ Prof.Greg Ibe is the kind of person every community prays for, which is why I, on behalf of my Council of Chiefs, are proud to give him the Chieftaincy title of “EBOGU IWELAA’ 1” of our autonomous community.
Leading the members of the Steering Committee, Abia Crusaders Foundation to receive the award on behalf of Prof. Greg Ibe, Chief Surveyor Ibeaja C was full of appreciation to Eze Jinanwa and sent goodwill messages to him, members of his cabinet and the good people of Amaise Ovungwu autonomous community.
Prof. Ibe then promised that now he is a member of his cabinet, he shall contribute his quota to the development of the community and also partner the community in development and other areas of her endeavour.
