EZINNE NMERECHI IHEJIRIKA LAID TO REST

The remains of Ezinne Chief (Mrs) Nmerechi Nkennediya Ihejirika, has been committed to mother earth amid pomp, in her home town of Ovim in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
The late Ezinne Ihejirika, was the mother of Lieutenant General Onyeabor Azubuike Ihejirika, a former Chief of Army Staff of the federation.
The colourful funeral ceremony of the deceased, held at the Obayi Civic Centre Ovim, had dignitaries from all walks of life, who came to commiserate with the family.
These were retired and serving military top brass, high profile Politicians which includes Governors, Ministers and Senators, Religious leaders, Captains of Industry and the academia.
The body of the deceased amid eulogy, testaments and funeral farewell songs by relatives, friends and well-wishers of the deceased family, was conveyed and later laid to rest by the Apams funeral home limited.
The late Ezinne Ihejirika died at the age of 86, on August 4, 2021.
The deceased is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws and a host of other relations
