Breaking: Scare in Umuahia over rumour of sit-at-home enforcers

Residents of Umuahia the Abia State capital scampered for safety Monday morning over rumours of the presence of enforcers of the suspended sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB.
Normal life and economic activities had gone on as usual until about 10:40 am when people started running to and from different directions.
Shop owners immediately shut down and scampered for safety as fear of the unknown spread across the city.
Traders at Orieugba market were seen running to different directions while people on the street also joined in the ensuing confusion.
Tricycle operators and vehicle owners were driving on high speed some shouting as they drove.

IPOB has since announced the suspension of the order but some cities across South East still remain locked down on Mondays despite the suspension.
