Bayelsa House of Assembly visits media village

The Bayelsa house of Assembly Committee on information and Orientation has lauded Governor Douye Diri for matching words with action in area of infrastructural development.
The chairman house committee on information and Orientation , Hon Tare Porri in company of members stated this during an in scheduled visit to the media village,saying that the committee was satisfied that monies appropriated by the house was prudently expended and commended the commissioner of Information and Orientation, Ayiba Duba for a good job well done.
Hon Tare Porri said the committee was satisfied with the work done on this legacy project inspire of limited resources and implored all Bayelsans to wholeheartedly support this administration to actualise its vision for the state.
In his remarks , the information commissioner expressed his gratitude to the committee for the visit, being embarked upon , noting that the project would not been undertaken if the house had not approved funds for it.
He informed that this was the first phase of the project and hoped that the fruitful partnership between the legislature and executive arm will continue after the project got to the second phase.
In his remarks, the commissioner of Works and Infrastructure, Mr Moses Teibowei reiterated the governor,s passion for development , as no contract so far awarded has been stalled, adding that the 20 internal roads are on going and applauded the indigenous contractor handling the media village project and implored other contractors to emulate Amapu – Pere Nigeria Limited.
