Empty streets in Umuahia as IPOB sit-at-home records total compliance

The sympathy sit-at-home declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB to commemorate the independence of Ambazonia Republic seeking self autonomy from Cameroon, recorded total compliance Friday in Umuahia, Abia State capital.
Streets, markets and public places were deserted as residents remained indoors.
Banks also did not open while schools both private and public were shut down as the city remained locked down as at the time of filing this report.
