Police arraign ex-cop who raped Abia poly student

The Abia State Police Command, Wednesday, arraigned Corporal Chinedu Nwachukwu who allegedly raped a female student of Abia State Polytechnic Aba.
His arraignment according to the Police Public Relations Officer PPRO Geoffrey Ogbonna followed his dismissal from the force after orderly room trial at the State Headquarters.
The dismissed cop was subsequently arraigned before a magistrate court sitting in Umuahia, which subsequently ordered that he be remanded in prison custody.
Police spokesman said the force had no room for bad eggs giving police bad image.
