Court orders FG to pay N20 billion damages to Igboho

An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan, Friday, ordered the Federal Government of Nigeria to pay N20 billion as damages to Yoruba freedom fighter, Chief Sunday Adeyemo (a.k.a Igboho) for the invasion of his residence.
Igboho who is currently in detention in the neighbouring Benin Republic has gone to court challenging the invasion of his home during which some of his aides were killed.
But the federal government arrested some persons in his house claiming they have stockpile of weapons.
