Senator Ohuabunwa commends Ikpeazu for reconstituting cabinet

Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has commended Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu for sending a list of Commissioner nominees to the Abia State House of Assembly for confirmation.

He said that the move would help to inject fresh blood into the statecraft, describing the list as an assemblage of competent hands.

He therefore, congratulated the nominees, and challenged them to put in their best in the service of the state when confirmed.

Senator Ohuabunwa in a press release, also congratulated the nominees from Abia North senatorial district especially Prince Chidiebere Uwagwu Kalu who he described as a resourceful political son.

The former Leader House of Representatives, who also described the list of nominees as a formidable team, charged them to complement the efforts of the governor to transform the state .

He, therefore, appealed to the Abia State House of Assembly to speedily confirm their nomination.

On the controversy trailing the nomination in Arochukwu LGA, Senator Ohuabunwa appealed for calm, saying that the brouhaha is uncalled for.

Ohuabunwa who is a member of the National Executive Council, NEC of the People Democratic Party, PDP, reminded the youths in Arochukwu that experience is also needed in governance to blend with youthfulness.

He advised those who feel aggrieved to place the interest of the council and party above personal gains, maintaining the the PDP still needs the experience and wisdom of adults as well as the agility of youths.
