Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has expressed rude shock over the demise of Mrs. Onyinyechi Agbazuere, wife of the Chief of Staff to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Professor Anthony Agbazuere.
Ohuabunwa in a press statement described the tragic incident as a big blow to the state.
He noted that the last Mrs. Agbazuere was a virtuous woman who made positive impacts on many who came around her.
Ohuabunwa said that her demise had created a big vacuum particularly in the heart of her husband and other family members.
Senator Ohuabunwa also lamented the demise of a former Commissioner in the state, Chief Uche Mpama, describing it as another devastating news for Abia State.
Ohuabunwa who described the duo as valuable human assets to the state expressed concern over the rate of high profile deaths in the state.
He recalled that the incidents occurred when the state was yet to recover from the twin death of former First Ladies, Lady Victoria Aguiyi-Ironsi; and Mrs Adanma Okpara.
Senator Ohuabunwa prayed God to grant the souls of the departed eternal repose in heaven.
He urged members of the bereaved families to be consoled with the legendary lifestyles of the deceased patriots who he said gave their best in the service of humanity.
