Nkole bags doctorate degree, dedicates award to mum

A Senior Special Assistant to the Abia Governor, Hon. Isaac Nkole l, an Engineer, has been conferred with a Doctorate degree (honoris causa) on Humanity by the prestigious Evangel Theological College and Seminary, Nigeria, an affiliate of Evangel Christian University, USA.

The 2010 Chemical Engineering graduate of Nnamani Azikiwe University Awka was considered for the honour because of his innumerable positive impacts on humanity through his ISUN Multipurpose Cooperative Society.
Rector and Deen of Academic Affairs, of the institution, Rev. Professor Great K. K. Umah, which speaking at the glamorous ceremony in Aba, described a leader as “one who knows the road, leads the way and then asks others to follow him confidently”.
“You cannot teach what you do not know, and cannot give what you do not have”, he said.
He thanked God for making the day a reality, and appreciated the awardees for their respective contributions in supporting the progress and growth of the institution
In his remarks, Nkole thanked the university for considering his for the award, said it will spur him for more action.
Later in an interview with newsmen, Nkole said he was following the footsteps of his Boss, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, who had affected many lives through Small and Medium Enterprises SMEs.
Nkole described Governor Ikpeazu’s achievements in SME as ones that have brought Abia State into the global limelight.
He said that he is replicating same through his pet project – ISUN Corporative Society LTD by helping small business owners particularly women and youths in the State, which he said had changed many lives.
Nkole dedicated the award to his mother who he said made great impact on his life and guided him on godly path.
Other awardees included Engr. Chinnaya Amogu Mba , Hon. Sir. Stephen Ukpai, and Chief Uduma Agbai Nnate.
