Isuikwuato under hostage – Kanu

A leading Chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Isuikwuato Local Government Area for the December 19 council poll , Mazi Kanu A. Kanu, has claimed that Isuikwuato was under bondage.
The Chairmanship hopeful who made the claims when he came to submit his nomination form Monday at the APC state secretariat Umuahia accused corrupt politicians in the council of taking the council into hostage.
He decried the deplorable condition of schools and other public institutions in the council saying the infrastructural deterioration in the LGA gives him sleepless nights.

The APC aspirant said he was on a rescue mission to salvage the council from the ruins of bad leadership masterminded by past leaders of the LGA.
Mazi Kanu said he would bring to bare his wealth of experiences and success story in the private sector to fix the council if given the mandate.
The Acha -born business mogul who said Isuikwuato remained the stronghold of APC, expressed the confidence that he would sweep the polls if given the APC ticket.

He was accompanied to the APC secretariat by a retinue of supporters and Isuikwuato youths led by Osondu Joelee Okoro (a. k. a Onye football).
