UK, US silence, media bias, reasons  killings persist in  Nigeria  – IPOB

The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, has said  that the silence and inaction of Nigeria’s Colonial Master, Britain;  as well as the United States of America, over the killing spree and genocide by both terrorist organisations and security operatives in Nigeria were the reasons the atrocity has continued unabated.

IPOB made the claims in a press statement Monday while reacting to the Sunday’s massacre of its  unarmed members in Enugu by the security agents.

In the statement entitled :”Enough is Enough”, which was signed by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, IPOB urged both countries to take immediate action against the escalating killing of indigenous Nigerians by both terrorists and security operatives.

IPOB which claimed that security operatives in Nigeria are more brutal  to innocent citizens than terror groups put together 1, called for the designation of Nigeria security agencies as terrorist organisations.

The pro -Biafra movement also called for self defense against unprovoked attacks either by terrorists or security agents.

IPOB also blamed biased reporting for the persistence of killings of innocent citizens in Nigeria, wondering why media organisations would report an unprovoked attack on unarmed persons  as a clash between the victims and their invaders.

IPOB accused Nigeria security agents of  rather showing  respect for armed groups but not only taking non-violent groups for granted but killing  their members at will.

“Oduduwa Amotekun are armed, Fulani Miyetti Allah are armed, Fulani terror herdsmen are armed, Fulani funded Bandits are armed, Fulani Ansaru Brigade is armed. They all gather in public without any military interference. But as soon as Biafran youths congregate in any location to pray, every Nigerian military formation including POLICE, DSS, ARMY, AIR FORCE stationed in Biafraland will descend on them firing indiscriminately with the intention of killing as many innocent people as possible because IPOB is a peaceful movement.

“The most shocking of all is that lazy, evil & wicked Nigerian journslists will refer to such unprovoked attack as a CLASH. Little wonder the world see and depict Lucifer as a black African man.

“Such mind boggling journalism and silence of UK & US diplomatic missions to Nigeria is proof that this ongoing Muslim extermination of Judeo-Christian Biafrans has the official backing of both countries. @UK in Nigeria is aiding and abetting murderous Fulani conquest of Biafraland.

“Nigerian Army & Police must be designated as the terrorist groups  because when it comes to the killing of Biafrans, they are infinitely worse than Boko Haram and ISWAP put together. We Biafrans MUST defend our lives. “
