Senator Ohuabunwa felicitates Mazi Ohuabunwa @ 70

Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has felicitated his elder brother and former Chairman of Nigeria Economic Summit Group, NESG, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa at his 70th birthday.
Mazi Ohuabunwa, who is currently the President of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, turned 70 on Sunday.
The former Senate Committee Chairman on Primary Health and Communicable Diseases, described his elder brother as a role model and great source of inspiration.
He congratulated him on his new age and for his many years of service to the nation.
The former Speaker, ECOWAS Parliament noted that Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa has remained a beacon and a monumental asset in the Ohuabunwa dynasty.
He prayed God to continue to shower the economic expert and industrialist with sound health, strength and wisdom in his diamond age.
Recall that Mazi Ohuabunwa, an entrepreneur of note, started out early as staff of Pfizer and phenomenally rose to become its Chairman/CEO within 15 years.
He later led the management team that bought over Pfizer Inc shares after four years at the helm of affairs.
His contributions in the private sector greatly shaped and transformed the Nigerian economy, especially the leading role he played as Chairman of NESG.
The NESG is a think-tank that periodically sets development agenda for the private and public sectors and works diligently to harmonise their energy for measurable results.
Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa’s selfles services and contributions to the development of society at various fronts have earned him many recognitions and awards both home and abroad.
He has also served the country at various capacities including as the President, Nigeria Employers Consultative Association and Chairman of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Ikeja.
Others are the President of Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce and founding of Sam Ohuabunwa Foundation for Economic Empowerment.
Mazi Ohuabunwa, who is also a Knight of Saint Christopher of the Anglican Communion, is also greatly revered among his Aro Oke Igbo kindred for his numerous contributions towards the advancement of Arochukwu ancient kingdom.
