‘Shun idolatry, politics of bitterness’, Don counsels Abia politicians

A university don and former Special Aide to Gov Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Dr. Uwoma Uche, has advised politicians in the state to shun idolatry and politics of bitterness.
The Head, Department of Mass Communication, Rehma University Aba, gave the advice in his Democracy Day message, noted that no meaningful progress would be recorded in an atmosphere of rancour and idolatry.

Dr. Uche commendedo Gov. Ikpeazu whom he said had posted some undeniable achievements since he took over the reigns of power five years ago.
He, therefore, urged Abia political class “to keep faith with him and shun the politics of animosity.”
The former Coordinator of Vote Okezie Ikpeazu Again, VOIA , also called for prayers for the quick recovery of the governor who tested positive to the dreaded coronavirus.
Describing Ikpeazu as “a child of destiny and a scholar in governance”, Dr. Uche prayed God to grant him acelerated healing.
He called on Abians to “hold fast to God, shun idolatry and believe the best for the state.”
