Abia ex -council deputy chair in soup for abusing Nnamdi Kanu
By Steve Oko
Mr. Ndubueze Okwulehe, a former Deputy Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government Area and kinsman of the Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has come under fire over his outburst and uncomplimentary remarks against the IPOB Leader.

Okwulehie popularly known as Eze Afara had in a six minutes, five seconds video taken a sweep on Kanu accusing him of using IPOB as a means of personal and family enrichment.
‘Eze Afara’ who admitted he was a Biafra, said he was not and would never be a member of IPOB.
He said he could not be coerced into joining IPOB or the struggle for Biafra restoration because his father fought in the Biafra war but had nothing to show for it.
Okwulehie accused Kanu of distablising the peace of their Afaraukwu community and wadding into the community affairs instead of concentrating on his ‘Biafra business ‘.
He alleged that his six flat business plaza in the community capable of fetching him N3 million revenue as rent annualy had been deserted as traders fled the area for fear of IPOB.
Okwulehie further accused Kanu of stepping into the place he (Okwulehie) secured in the village to build another business plaza and had already invested over N35 million, clamming that the place is a communal land.
He accused Kanu of causing trouble for him in his business and warned him to steer clear or get ready for his wrath.
He threatened to expose Kanu and his late father who was the monarch of the community if the IPOB Leader did not steer clear from his way.
He further decried intimidation, underdevelopment and neglect of their community and appealed to the federal government to come to their rescue.
Okwulehie also appealed to the ex -millitant Leader and Kanu’s serial critic, Mujahid Dokubo-Asari to come to their aid.
The former Council Deputy Chairman who spoke in Igbo in the video which has gone viral further called on the Minister for Information Alhaji Lia Mohammed, Media Adviser to Mr. President, Femi Adesina to draw the attention of the President to the plight of the community.
But the video has since drawn the ire of social media commentators who now ‘ call for the head’ of the former Deputy Council Chairman.
Most of the commentators on the wall of a popular blogger in Abia who first posted the video described Okwulehie as an envy -driven irritant bent on blackmailing Kanu to get cheap popularity.
They dismissed him as a mere attention -seeking saboteur who should be ignored.
One of the commentators, Kingsley Chinenye wrote : ” Nonsense. I think we should recollect (withdraw) all the so-called titles and Offor given to you “.
Another commentator, Obani GOC wrote :”He is looking for attention & recognition. Modern Judas indeed”.

Chimaobi Ezechukwu wrote :”One of the Efulefus talking”.
Chioma Amaechi wrote in Igbo and said :”Ifee ina eme ugbua odunma?. Uzo adugu ofoo inagaa. Ihere Indi ofe anyi emegbulem. Obu ndoo ikposhiri ugbua ga agbatara gi oso enyemaka. Asoo!!
