Arochukwu stakeholders laud Ikpeazu over reappointment of Nto as ASCETA provost

Stakeholders of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, have lauded Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu for the reappointment of their illustrious son, Dr. Philip Nto, as the Provost , Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu (ASCETA).
The stakeholders who met at the Ututu country home of Nto described his reappointment for a second term in office as apt and well deserved.
Describing the former Commissioner for Finance as a pace setter who has brought some noticeable transformation to the institution despite its daunting challenges, the stakeholders expressed profound gratitude to the Governor for the action.
They also commended the Governor for other earlier appointments to other sons and daughters of Arochukwu LGA.
The stakeholders passed a vote of confidence on the Governor saying “his visionary leadership has brought about peace, stability, progress and prosperity in the state”.
They expressed absolute confidence in the leadership of Governor Ikpeazu both at state and party levels.
They explained that the meeting was principally convened to fashion out means of conducting peaceful and acceptable congresses in the LGA in line with the directive of the Governor.
The stakeholders pledged their continued loyalty to Governor Ikpeazu and assured him that they would do everything humanly possible to ensure the success of his administration.
The meeting which was attended by the Provost of ASCETA, Dr. Nto; Commissioner for Special Duties, Chief J.J. Okoro; former Commissioner for SME, Gabe Igboko; Political Adviser to the Governor, Elder Amah Abraham and Hon. Obinna Nwankwo among others, noted with satisfaction the desire of the Governor for the congress to be equitable and fair.
