IPOB leader speaks on Monguno, Abba Kyari rift

* Says in-fighting confirms existence of ‘unholy secret’ in Aso Rock

Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has reacted to the rift between the National Security Adviser to the President, Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd); and the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, saying the in-fighting between the duo is a confirmation of an existence of a secret known to them but hidden from other Nigerians.

Recall that the NSA had in a leaked protest letter to Buhari, accused Kyari of overshadowing the President and meddling in national affair beyond his limits.

For instance, Munguno lambasted Kyari whom he accused of convening and chairing meetings of Service Chiefs without the knowledge of the President and NSA, claiming that the failure in the war against insurgency in the recent times was as a result of Kyari’s unprofessional interference.

Reacting to the development, Kanu in a press statement he personally signed, said that the revelations by the NSA had confirmed his (Kanu’s) earlier warnings of ‘unholy secret agreement’ surrounding the presidency.

His words :”Those Nigerians who out of a combination of ignorance, envy, cowardice, and timidity challenged my irrrefutable assertion that Abba Kyari and not Buhari is the unelected president of Nigeria, can now see and hear their own National Security Adviser (NSA) Babagana Monguno confirm what IPOB and every top level intelligence agency in the world have known for long.

“I know this relevation from Nigeria’s NSA will come as a shock to hopeless unity begging ‘one- Nigerianists’ but the inescapable truth remains that IPOB is always right.”

Kanu further alleged that : “It was Abba Kyari along with Garba Shehu, Gov. El-Rufai, Mamman Daura, Lawal Daura, Babagana Monguno, Sultan of Sokoto and Tukur Buratai that conspired . Today they have fallen out with each other, hence the infighting.”

Kanu said former Lagos Governor and chieftain of the ruling party at the centre, Bola Tinubu was aware of the conspiracy but decided to keep a sealed lip after he was promised a presidential ticket in 2023.

“Fulani dangled the presidency in front of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and used it to buy Yoruba media silence on this greatest fraud of all time.

“Yoruba media did an excellent job of keeping gullible Nigerians in the dark as reign of impunity, banditry and terrorism gathered momentum. Today every ethnic group in the damnable British colonial experiment called Nigeria is paying a very price for it. Ignore IPOB at your peril.

“How can ordinary Chief of Staff override the orders of a living President ? Where are the brains of some people? The same “no nonsense’ military dictator touted by Yoruba media in 2015 is being overriden by a common civilian staff? Nigerians should use their brain for once!

“Nigerians, behold yourreal ruler, unelected President Abba Kyari”, Kanu mocked.
