‘I’ll rebuild Abia in two years’ – Ogah

The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress,  APC,  in Abia State, Dr. Uche Ogah, has promised to rebuild the state within two years if voted into power.
Ogah made the pledge Tuesday while speaking at the APC presidential rally at the Enyimba Stadium Aba.
He said Abia had been under bondage for 20 years by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  and promised to free the state if elected governor.
The oil magnet said there was near infrastructural collapse in the state under the watch of PDP but assured that “the story must change” under his leadership.
He also said that  the  PDP -controlled federal government in the past was unable to address the infrastructural challenge in the state as well as other South East states.
Ogah however noted  that both the state and the zone are now witnessing infrastructural transformation courtesy of the APC -led federal government unlike during the PDP era.
“For 20 16 years it was in power PDP could not fix the Enugu -Port Harcourt Express way but President Muhammadu Buhari of APC is now rebuilding the road.
” APC is also fixing the Enugu -Onitsha express way and other roads in the South East  “, Ogah said.
In his remarks, APC National Chairman,  Adams Oshiomhole,  urged Abians to vote for APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He said Abia as well as South East would fair better under APC.
Speaking at the event Buhari promised to bring more developement to the state and zone in his second tenure, and solicited the support of the people.
