Tragedy : 3 dead, 15 injured in Enugu auto cash

Reports reaching Wawa News Global desk say no fewer than three persons died while 15 others were injured in an auto crash that occurred Thursday evening in Enugu.

The accident according to reports occurred around 7:00 pm at the Ogbaku axis of the Enugu -Port Harcourt Express Way.

Although the cause of the accident is yet to be established, it might not be unconnected with wrong overtaking.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amariuzu, a Superintend of Police, said the corpses of the victims had been deposited at the morgue of the University Teaching Hospital, Ituku -Ozalla.

The injured, according to the police Spokesperson, are also receiving medical attention at the same hospital.

According to the PPRO, a Mercedes Benz with the registration number, ENU 350 XZ, and a Toyota Hummer bus marked XB 205 XPR were involved in the accident.
