Assemblies of God Umuahia Central district declares 7- day convention

Determined to ignite the fire of revival among its pastors and membership for more effective kingdom business, the new leadership of the Umuahia Central ( Jerusalem) District of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, has declared a seven – day convention programme slated for Monday September 17 to Sunday, September 23, 2018.
The programme tagged ” Fresh Fire Glory Convention” according to the District Superintendent, the Reverend Henry Emelike ( Ph.D), will hold simultaneously in three locations : AGC 5/7 Item Street Umuahia for Umuahia zone; AGC Amawom Oboro for Ikwuano zone; and AGC Bende 1 Church for Bende zone.
He said the convention aimed at getting the church ready for rapture and end-time radical evangelism cum harvest of souls would start by 5:30 pm daily at the respective venues.
The Superintended expressed hope that innumerable miracles including salvation, healings, revival, restoration, and so many other divine blessings would be witnessed during the convention which will be the first of its kind in the history of the young District.
Shedding more light on the event, the Chairman, Central Planning Committee, Rev. Elisha Anyanwu , said the glorious gathering would be rounded off on Sunday with a Mega Worship at the Event Centre Isigate Umuahia.
He said Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu, and Senator Theodore Orji representing Abia Central, were among some eminent personalities expected to grace the mega worship which would be attended by thousands of members of the church from across the District.
Notable national and international preachers including Rev. Dr. Mike Japhet, Rev. Don. Odunze, Rev. Ogboso Ejindu, Rev. Uche Ume, among others are some of the guest speakers at the convention.
Popular gospel Artiste, Israel Anyanele is also expected to feature at the Mega Worship scheduled for 11:00 am on Sunday.
