Senator Ohuabunwa receives certificate of return

Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, yesterday, received certificate of return as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP standard flag bearer for the Abia North senatorial poll in 2023.

Ohuabunwa emerged the candidate of the party after thrashing his only challenger, Hon. Uko Nkole who is currently representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal consituency.

Other PDP senatorial candidates, Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia South); and Col. Austin Akobundu (retd), as well as House of Representatives candidates were also issued their certificate of return.

Addressing a mamoth crowd of supporters after receiving his certificate of return, Senator Ohuabunwa thanked the members of the PDP in Abia North for reposing confidence in him.

He solicited their continued support for total victory in 2023, promising to restore the lost voice of the zone if elected back to the red chamber.

Ohuabunwa who vowed that his mandate would never be stolen again, urged the people to unite behind him against poor representation and voicelesnes.

The former Leader, ECOWAS Parliament, promised to restore the dignity of Abia North and make the zone the envy of the South East at the red chamber.
