Breaking: PDP rejects presidential poll results
By Steve Oko
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has announced its rejection of the presidential and national assembly election results being declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
PDP accused INEC of inflating the figures in favour of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus, who conveyed the party’s position in a press briefing Monday evening in Abuja, said it had lost confidence in the credibility of the poll.
PDP put the international community on red alert of the development, saying APC has raped and murdered democracy in Nigeria.
