Police rescue victims of Serious Motor Accident in Bayelsa

Two victims of an accident involving a Toyota Corolla and a Tricycle were rescued by the Police at Sani Abacha Express way, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The accident which occurred on Monday 15th March 2021, at about 1030 hours when the driver of the Toyota Corolla, one Akinyemi Ayodele ‘m’ 36 years, suddenly engaged a reverse gear, because he was allegedly being pursued by armed robbers. The vehicle somersaulted and hit an upcoming Tricycle.
The driver of the Tricycle sustained bruises on his face and he is responding to treatment, fortunately the driver of the Toyota Corolla is unhurt.
According to the command,s PPRO SP Asinim Butswat Investigation is ongoing to ascertain the cause of the accident.
